  • I ordered my bridesmaids dress and then found out I was pregnant. I went in to order a bigger size and they were very helpful, even set up a fitting 2 weeks prior to the wedding to take in the dress without a rush charge because I am expecting. WARNING: DO NOT take your dress in for alterations here. They price gauge you. I ended up paying more for them to take in the hem and a little on the sides than I did for the dress itself! Basically 3 times as much then if I were to have taken it to my tailor across the street. They take advantage of you and then tell you there's nothing that can be done because the prices are set forth by corporate. I was always fine with David's Bridal, even though some look at it as a cheap place, but after this experience and the ridiculous and disgusting prices they charge to take an inch of the hemline will make me go elsewhere in the future, both to buy dresses and for alterations. I would rather pay more for the dress and receive honest and good customer service then be completely taken advantage of.... especially when being a bridesmaid or a bride is already so expensive!
