My family has been on several picnics here, and really enjoy it. It is quite scenic, and offers numerous activities (most of which we have not explored yet). The playground is nice, offering some accessibility features, and situated in a little clearing of trees that just feels very cozy and secluded. We have been on several Sunday afternoons during the summer, and it was never overly crowded. There are numerous picnic tables surrounding the playground area, and I know there are many others within the park as a whole. The trees really do help to keep the heat down. I know that there is a small sand beach, as well as what appears to be a nicely laid-out walking path. I found the bathrooms to be well-kept and clean (always extra important with little guys in tow.) I will definitely return to this park many times with my kids!
