I have been getting massages every month for several years now with various spas and must admit this is the worst experience I have ever encountered with a therapist. I am a member of this spa & have communicated SEVERAL times to the front desk women, the people booking my massages, and the therapists my specific needs.
I booked an hour and a half massage for relaxation and communicated to the therapist I like extremely light pressure and would like for my back to be focused on prior to the massage starting. During the massage I had to remind the therapist that I like light pressure after he continuously was hurting me. He then would let up for a few minutes to a pressure I enjoyed. Then after a few minutes he would continue to hurt me and go back to the same brutal pressure. Then had the audacity to tell me this was the lightest he could go, mind you he had been going lighter during the beginning portion of the massage. On top of that he told me it was my fault that I was in such pain and that he had to continue the same pressure. At that point the physical pain was so bad I began to cry, to which clearly he didn't care since he continued on to hurt me and cause me physical pain.
Remember how I stated that I would like my back focused on? The therapist literally only rubbed my back for 5 minutes total.
At this point, while crying, I told him to stop the massage & I was ready to end the session. If you need light pressure or just like to not be physically hurt by your therapist I fully advise to not have DEX be your therapist as he doesn't care if he makes you cry or puts you in physical pain. He will then give you attitude and tell you it's your fault that he made you cry and caused you pain.
I don't know how many times or people I've communicated this to. I've told this group of individuals working here that I need light pressure. This is in my file and has been known for months. Clearly this therapist doesn't care if he causes you pain nor did the staff care to communicate to him that light pressure is needed.
I have never had this problem with any other therapist here. I love the massages everyone else has given me in the past & would recommend them to others. With the exception of Dex.
Do not have Dex as your therapist. You've been warned.
