| - I knew going in this place was 2-3 stars, depending on what search engine you use.
The price we paid was laughably inexpensive, which was what we needed for a wedding weekend in Phoenix. The location on Scottsdale Road is definitely busy, but that's good if you want restaurants and shops nearby. We were on the second floor and had no problem with noise, other than the never ending t.v. drone from next door. Go to sleep sir, go get some air or go to the mall, JUST GET OUT OF YOUR ROOM AND TURN OFF THE T.V.
Our room was very clean, and in great condition. We spent a couple hours at the pool, also scrupulously clean with a huge supply of fresh towels. Throw in free-breakfast (I am such a dork, I spent forever at that make-it-yourself waffle iron) and super nice staff and you have a pain-free hotel experience, enabling you to brave the disabling Phoenix heat feeling well-rested and richer for it.
p.s. There is a lovely, open patio behind the lobby with big screen t.v. and a nice place to eat breakfast or chill after sweating it out in the desert.
