Went today for business lunch. Waited 20 mins for a table, which was OK but they weren't that busy. Ordered the "Carolina shrimp" pasta assuming shrimp would be good. One bite in I knew immediately that the shrimp were treated with sodium tripolyphosphate which is a solution used on shrimp to keep them "fresh" longer. Also leaves a nasty chemical taste and taints the whole dish. Since this was a business lunch I didn't want to make a fuse but I didn't eat my meal. The server asked if I wanted it boxed up, I said no thanks. She never once asked if there was any issue. I had to ask for drink refill as well. A place such as Mimosa should have fresh untainted shrimp..we are 4 hours from the coast.
