I'm definitely not a fan of buffets but when in Rome (kinda thing). I came here on a Sunday night and did some major damage. This is easily the best buffet on the strip. The line up wasn't too bad at around 10 minutes, and the buffet definitely wasn't crowded. I did a walk-through at Wicked Spoon the next day, and I'm totally curious about the rave reviews for that buffet, the vast majority of dishes seemed totally bland with half the variety offered at Wynn.
Wynn's Buffet caters very well to most common dietary restrictions (lots of diabetic, gluten-free and glycemic options). They have a mean couscous salad, an amazing green pea risotto and glazed pecan radicchio salad.
The tomato gazpacho, though, entirely cute was slight little let down as an overly acidic base. They probably let it sit too long and the raw onion overpowered the ripe tomatos.
Though I'm not a huge fan of crab legs, they always had a large amount available. They have a real tandoor, FTW and a creperie for dessert. In fact, I'd forego the other desserts for the crepes and fruit.
I can't wait to be back.
