  • Not carvel, just a sham. We ordered a classic carvel football cake for my son's birthday. We were told we could pick it up anytime on Saturday. I arrived at 10 a.m. and the man said it wasn't ready and that I should have come in the afternoon. I waited 30 min for him to make the football cake and it came out looking a mess. The classic crispy crunchy cookie topping wasn't there. It looked like they bought vanilla wafers, barely crushed them and covered them in chocolate. I told the man it wasn't correct and he just argued with me. I told him I didn't want it, but was stuck with it because we we're having the party. He gave me 25% off. So instead of paying $34 for a cake, I paid $25 for a cake I didn't want. When we cut the cake at the party, there were no crunchies inside (there's supposed to be). The ice cream tasted like chalk. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Stay away.
