Let me preface this review by saying I am loving the Thompson hotel lounges and restaurants however, Scarpetta, for the price that comes with the food, isn't overly worth it. The Spaghetti which is comprised of sauce and oil is $24. A bit too much for the portion as well.
The atmosphere is that of a nice hotel restaurant and the servers are pleasant although a bit lacking in attention to detail. The woman across from us was using a napkin that the server had spilled wine on and it wasn't until someone at our table informed them that they went and got a new one. Also when it came time to paying, we all had separate forms of payment and my girlfriend was over charged and when they went to fix it, they recharged the same amount to her CC (3 times this carried on!)
I did enjoy the meal however and their bartender sure does know how to mix a cocktail. I would suggest going to the lobby bar and having a cocktail. I would also suggest getting the meat stuffed olives (they are lip smacking delish!)
