  • I haven't been to an AMC in quite a while but this is very close to my house and recently taken over by AMC so I thought I would try it out. First of all, the front door was so filthy that even my husband pulled out his sleeve to avoid touching it. The staff were far from friendly and the lobby was littered with popcorn and trash. The worst part of every AMC is the outrageous prices on drinks and popcorn. For two of us we spent more on popcorn than tickets, that's absurd! This theatre needs an overhaul, the hallways are boring and it's difficult to find the exits. The chairs were pretty comfy but that's pretty much the only positive about our experience. On top of it all our movie started 20 min late! Back to Harkins we go and likely never returning.
