  • We have a cat with some medical issues and have a wellness plan for him. We've been taking him to this location for 3.5 years. He has seen about 5 vets there over that time period. I would give Dr. Andi Rosado, D.V.M. 5 stars, if I were only rating her, and not the business in general. She is so knowledgeable and very personable. She knows so much about cat behavior, which most of the other vets did not. She really does love cats. I refer to her as the Cat Whisperer. We adopted Max as a stray, and he already had some bad habits, beside his inflammatory bowel issues. I'm really happy with her as his vet. He doesn't even mind going there. Lol. As long as they don't try to stick the thermometer up his butt. He freaks out, so they have to put it under his arm like a baby. Some of the vet nurses are very good, and some are not. When Max was being treated for fleas, a vet nurse put the flea medication down his back all the way to his tail, despite my objections. I was previously told to just put it between his shoulder blades only. She said he would be fine, he can't reach there. Well, as soon as we got home, he started cleaning himself on his back and proceeded to make gagging noises. As I called the office to speak to someone about it, no one answered and I had to leave a voicemail. Then, Max cleaned himself again and he started foaming at both sides of his mouth. I called back and finally got a hold of someone, she spoke to Dr. Rosado and said to bring him back in right away. Dr. Rosado had to wash the medication off his back and put a cone collar on him so he wouldn't lick his back while his fur was drying. She said that I would not be charged for the collar, and, the next month, she would not charge for his dose of medication. I saw the vet nurse who did that to him and told her how Max could lick those areas that she assured me he could not, and how he was gagging and foaming at the mouth. She didn't say she was sorry or anything. Dr. Rosado talked to her about how to apply the medication properly. I noticed that she still works there, so beware. I agree with other reviewers that it is very difficult to get an appointment. I usually have to wait 1-1/2 to 2 weeks. I have to repeatedly specify that Max is to be booked with only Dr. Rosado, because people have screwed that up in the past and erroneously booked him with a different vet. If your pet is sick, you will, unfortunately, have to wait. They are so booked out. But, I do highly recommend Dr. Rosado. I hope she stays there for a long time.
