  • I've been staying in SPG properties for the better part of my time on the road, almost weekly for 10 years. While I expect the room rates to vary based on location, brand, etc... I am always shocked by the varying price of additional services at Westin properties. Parking at this hotel is a virtual deal breaker at over $20/night. The hotel itself is very nice, with solid amenities; however, is a bit isolated from any restaurants or stores to grab something quick. As a result, the hotel charges for room service border on absurd. An omelette w/ OJ will run you around $35 by the time they are done over charging for eggs and cheese, plus a service fee, plus 18% forced gratuity, plus whatever other fees are required. The gym is outstanding, as far as hotel gyms generally go, though a whirlpool would have been a nice addition. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and generally sheltered from noise. I stay here weekly due to the proximity to my client, but I do so reluctantly. I'd consider giving this hotel 4, perhaps even 5 stars, if I didn't feel fleeced every time I ordered something to the room or parked my car.
