Seksun Sushi--their tag line should be: the most depressing sushi bar in town.
Stopped here on a whim (I should refrain from listening to my whims from now on). 5:30 on a Friday night and the place is practically empty; a couple in one booth and a single woman in another, and me. Place is decorated ok. Music leaves a lot to be desired, and the waitress/hostess would have been more excited having her wisdom teeth yanked out. Greeting was lukewarm at best. No smile..Didnt feel welcome... AT ALL.
Portions are tiny for the price. There are better quality and value conveyor belt sushi places out there. Sushi Station in N. Phoenix blows this place out of the water. I didn't feel the sushi itself was all that great and selection was limited. It's not a good sign when the best thing I tasted was a lonely piece of cheesecake... And they don't even make it!
This place doesn't have much going for it, IMHO. I didn't find the staff welcoming, the food was subpar and the atmosphere was, like I said, depressing. I predict that it will go under within the next few years. Not good at all...
