  • **This job is still ongoing. This review is based solely on my first 2 encounters with this company. This is not based on the installation as my floor is not installed yet.** We purchased over $11,000 worth of flooring from Lowe's to be installed by Beno's. The company scheduled a time to come assess the job and measure. The gentleman that showed up to measure walked inside my house and proceeded to tell us how the job was going to be "a nightmare" We currently have hardwoods that need to be removed and replaced with new hardwoods. That just really put a bad taste in my mouth. My husband and I own a service company and we would never tell a customer the job was going to be a nightmare. 2 days later Lowe's calls with the cost and measurements. We agreed to everything and we were told we would be called when the materials were in. Beno's called this week and we scheduled for a delivery of materials on Thursday between 8-10 and the demo and install Saturday between 8-10. Thursday morning comes, my husband calls at 9:50 saying they still aren't there and he needs to leave for work. I called Beno's, Sally answered and told me she would call the guys to see where they were. A minute later she gets back on stating the lead guy didn't answer and she's calling the helper. She got back on with me and repeated 3 times that there were a couple of contractors in front of their workers in line at Lowe's and that's why it took so long but that they could be to my house in 15 minutes. Only 1 guy showed up to deliver the materials, my husband had to help him unload everything. Today is my install day, between 8-10. It's 9:21 and nobody is here. I'll update once the job is complete. And no call to tell me if they are even on their way... 10:15, called the store. Steve answered and said he'd get back to me after he called the crew. Got a call back from Steve who stated that they will be to my house in no later then 15 minutes (sounds familiar from Sally's answer Thursday) they had to get another tool...I called Lowe's to request another contractor but they don't work with other contractors. What "a nightmare!"
