Hard Rock Hotel is a beautiful hotel with convenience at nearly every corner; with a hefty price. Sometimes it's nice just to go on vacation and have a fridge/microwave so you can buy groceries and just eat a bit healthier and that's nearly impossible since there are no microwaves or fridges. Mr. Luck y'all has delicious food, though, if you're looking for a bite to eat. DJ at the restaurant has excellent customer service skills and Chef Felton was very accommodating, as well.
Okay let's talk about the good: beautiful pool, tons of restaurants, shops, and everything/anything you might need inside the hotel.
What kinda sucks: OVERLY PRICED ALCOHOL at the Vanity Pool--I paid $30 for a blended drink and it was not very strong at all. The worst part is they don't allow any outside drinks--people are already paying hundreds of dollars to stay at your damn hotel, let them drink what they want to bring. My advice if you want to "sneak" your drink in, is use a "hard rock" cup because they can't say it's an "outside drink". It also gets pretty crowded so you have to go early and get a spot.
The actual atmosphere of the hotel is pretty cool, aside from the fact that you'll see females going to the pool like they're going to the Grammy's with dresses and heels on but hey it's Vegas and you gotta look good!
Let's re-visit the overly priced stuff--you're better off going across the street to CVS to buy what you need than inside the hotel because the prices are just outrageous. Also "Pink Taco" sucks don't eat there--the food is tasteless!
