I'm so glad I found this place! After having a terrible experience at my last apartment, I knew what to look for: good management! You never realize how important good management and good maintenance are until you don't have them.
Maintenance guys are super-friendly and have great people skills (unlike the previous place I lived where the maintenance staff was mostly crotchety, unfriendly old men). They will keep working to get your problem solved, even calling a contractor if necessary. I know this costs them more money but it just shows the lengths they will go to make sure their residents are happy.
The office staff is great too! It always smells wonderful in there and they are always very friendly and even had a wrapping station with everything you need to wrap presents for the holidays! How awesome is that?!
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the USPS mail policy (something that I'm guessing came from a Camden corporate office somewhere and has nothing to do with the staff here at San Paloma). Basically, if a package sent via USPS doesn't fit in the parcel box (or, if all the parcel boxes are full), you have to schlep up to the post office to pick up your package(s). This has been pretty inconvenient during the holiday season.
That said, this is something I was made aware of before I moved in and is not a deal-breaker because this is such a great community! Great location, great staff and great upkeep. They actually care about their residents and don't just view you as dollar signs. I love this place and definitely recommend!
