  • I have visited Wal Mart over years for various reasons. Today as I always do I went in for an oil change and a battery replacement. The staff is very efficient and I got checked in on a reasonable time. During the battery replacement the battery service tech noticed that one of the battery terminals was about to fail. Rather than just connecting it and not reporting the issue he called and alerted me of the problem. He proceeded to repair the problem and spent a long time to make it right. The surprise came when I paid the bill and noticed that the only charge for the repair was a $5 part. The tech Keith was a real professional and someone that goes the extra mile to make sure that a job is done right. His performance rates a 5 star for the auto department at this Wal Mart. This is not something I would have expected. Kudos to Keith and the Wal Mart staff for his efforts.
