  • Who was in the mood for ice cream? This girl! I am always happy to stop for ice cream. It was my first visit to a Ben and Jerry's store. Of course I've bought it in the grocery store but never from one of their locations. It's located in the District and easy to find in between Panera and Crazy Pita. The dining area is kept clean with plenty of inside seating. Service here was ok. I asked for butter pecan in a waffle dish. I looked up and she was gone. I had no clue where she went. When she returned she then stated they were out. I wish she would've said she was looking in the back for more before disappearing. So I went with the salted caramel blondie in the waffle dish. She forgot the waffle dish so I had to ask her again. Ugh. Needless to say their ice cream is always good. The waffle was just ok. Seemed to be a little on the stale side. I'm sure I'll be back especially in these hot summer days.
