Got a full set and my nails are horrible the shape is awful the polish job is terrible and the nails are all lumpy and uneven. I kept telling the guy how I wanted my nails shaped and he just did his own thing. He ended up cutting my nails into a coffin shape which is not at all what I asked for. Ended up having to go to another salon the following day to have the nails removed and a new set out back on which was as you can imagine inconvenient, painful, and expensive. The only reason I decided to go to another salon and not back to have my nails fixed is because at gentle nail I had not one but TWO DIFFERENT technicians working on my nails when the guy realized that he had no idea what he was doing he asked for help from another person a woman who seemed as if she knew exactly what she was going to do to fix them when she looked at my nails her eyes widened and she looked like oh wow this is horrible so I was thinking great she's going to fix them. But then I looked at the clock it was 7:30 (closing time) and quickly noticed she was not sitting down she proceeded to "fix" my nails standing up. All she did was remove the polish from a couple of the nails she must have assumed looked the worse and re polished them and re applied the matte finish which ended up looking like glaze on a donut. I want my money back from gentle nail spa but I'm
Sure they won't offer me my money back I was even still nice enough to tip the man. I'm in the service industry and I know what it's like to basically rely on tips so I was not going to just stiff the dude because he was clearly Putting in a good effort to give me what I wanted he just didn't want to admit that he had no idea what he was doing. I've been there before for pedicures and always had a great experience and my eyebrow waxing is always on point whenever I decide to go there but full sets here are a no and it doesn't seem like it depends on the technician because I had TWO and still ended up going to a different salon to get what I wanted.
