  • the 3rd star fell off this review right as I began to write it.. once upon a time, there was this apartment complex called the Lennox. It really is a nice place when it comes to the design, lighting and amenities. however I moved in to help finish a lease - come to find out that our pretty little box sized living quarters cost $1450. I'll be straight up, it is not worth it at ALL. maybe $1100-1200 the most. my closet is smaller than a bathroom stall. they sent us a letter in December telling us that we would get a free month of rent and it would drop down to $1400 if we renewed by the end of the month.. we didn't renew. we got another letter a week ago saying if we renewed our lease, it would cost us $1600/mo. wait, WHAT?! talk about inflation.. paper thin walls. paper thin floors. if i could make any suggestion for new tenants - choose the 4th floor. I can never sleep like a normal person anymore without hearing the Riverdance team chasing around the elephant heards while running a vacuum into the walls upstairs from me. occasionally I think they play musical chairs since it sounds like they're always sliding around and a 600lb roly poly usually hits the floor and a wall.. or 3. didn't know we had a zoo in this complex.. try not to get caught up with people yelling in the hallways or neighbors who live across from you that constantly scream at each other. I felt the power of christ when the one lady was yelling Bible verses at who I think was her mother.. the common area is definitely a great place to hang out especially when it starts to get warmer. fire pit and cabanas are great features. bring a flashlight to the grills if you plan on cooking after the sun goes down since it's dark down there. the people in the office are nice, never ran into an issue with them. facilities guys are super helpful and friendly. the space and ambience just aren't worth the price. you can go down the street to Volare or even the Manhattan and get something just as nice and even more spacious for less the cost.. lease countdown is almost over.
