I was craving Taiwanese bfast Friday morning and thankfully found Yei Mei!
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, since it is located in Chinatown. =)
We ordered...
Sweet soy milk
Salty soy milk
Chinese donuts (youtiao)
Salty rice rolls -(fan tuan)
I was simply sipping my soy milk and barely added any sugar.
Dipped the youtiao in and yummmmm .. not too greasy. :)
Didn't get to finish it because of the fan taun of doom!!!
It's huge -- I barely finished half and was not hungry till dinner (and even then..barely hungry). If you ever find yourself lost in the wilderness, bring a fan tuan and live for days.
I didn't try the salty soy milk (who orders that for bfast??? .. Tim does, that's who...must be a HK thing.. =P .. I eyed him suspiciously throughout the meal).
Total was around $16... and we didn't finish the food. Service is very good and it's really clean in here. Loved that everyone spoke Chinese but don't fret, they do have an English menu. They also sell baked goods on the side..
