Was out for a long walk with my husband and our dog one Sunday afternoon and needed a snack. We were already well east of Glory Hole but decided to circle back to see what the fuss was all about.
When we arrived there appeared to be a long line but turns out it was people waiting for full dozens. The space is pretty small, with a small amount of seating by the front window. In the display there were only about three flavours at the time: chocolate pretzel, cinnamon sugar and the Elvis with Marshmallow. We opted for the first two.
Just as we paid for our order, a fresh batch of doughnut holes came out and caught my husband's eye. I suggested we try what we already bought first and then go back for those if we liked what we tasted. And like what we tasted we did. :)
As another reviewer noted though, that this place can't top Doughnut Plant in NY (which I am still hoping will open a location in TO), whose doughnuts are not only a bit tastier (in my opinion) but also better value (larger and cheaper).
But, if I'm looking for a delicious, sinful local treat, Glory Hole Doughnuts will definitely do in a pinch.
PS - the warm doughnut holes were awesome too!
