  • I've wanted to try this place based on the Yelp reviews. Bad decision! I honestly had to think twice about going in this place. It's not well lit in the parking lot and there were, in my opinion, unsavory people hanging around outside asking for change. So, against my better judgement, I went in and was a bit confused at the theme/decor. I thought it was a liquor at first glance but quickly realized it was an assortment of craft sodas. They even have two types of self serve soda stations. One, with the typical sodas (Cherry Pepsi, Tropicana lemonade, etc) and the other had craft soda flavors like Shirley Temple, Black Cherry and a few others. I filled my cup with the Shirley Temple...yum. When you go to order, there was an older guy standing/waiting at the counter to take your order. Don't expect any suggestions, even after advising it was my first time there and that the sandwich menu was "overwhelming ". It wasn't until I asked for a vegan option that he advised for an upcharge of $1, I could substitute a veggie pattie. I did. I ordered the California burger with the veggie pattie. It had Avocado, lettuce, tomato and something similar to a Comeback sauce which I got on the side. $12+ later/lighter and I couldn't eat the fries because they were too hard, dry and old. The color tells me the grease should be changed. The burger initially looked delicious, but I judged the book by its cover. The bun and lettuce was fresh, but the veggie pattie was dry and some parts were inedible. Long story short, I threw it all away. The best part of the meal was the craft soda . My only regret is that I forgot to mention Yelp for a 10% discount. Maybe if I ate beef I would have had a better experience, but that's no excuse for bad fries. It's sacrilege. Overpriced and disgusting! Buyer beware and take security.
