These bagels are similar in style to a Montreal bagel but don't really come close. I did question the sanitation in food preparation when I found what looked like those blue mesh parts of a kitchen sponge baked into one of my bagels.
I bought 6 bagels to try out, since this place has good reviews. Although it is one of the best bagels I've had in a GTA, I don't know if I would return.
It's $4.50 for 6 bagels which is not bad. They appear to bake them fresh only in the mornings. I couldn't tell if they used a wood fire oven like they do in Montreal. They were slightly on the harder/dryer side even though they were supposedly baked a few hours before I bought them. Slightly sweet and not salty, similar to a Montreal bagel. But I felt they were missing something.
