  • The Desert Botanical Garden is truly something to see! Get there before the blown glass exhibit goes away in May 2014. You'll take a glamorous walk through perfectly landscaped desert scenery. Check out their website for various exhibitions. Things change all the time. The downfall of the the garden is that it is incredibly expensive -- $22 a person. On this particular day, I had a friend in town for the day and we only had about an hour to kill. $44 for the two of us to walk through the desert for an hour was a little pricey, but I'm glad we saw it.
