I came here the other night because there was an hour wait for a few of the sushi restaurants that I wanted to try. Apparently it was sushi Sunday.
I've been here twice now and I've had a so so experience. I do like the oysters. The most recent time I went, they changed their serving size to one because of the season. I'm not sure when oyster season is so I'm not sure if that's accurate information. The salmon nigiri wasn't that great, nor was it terrible. I really like the beef tataki. It was pretty tasty. It's a seared beef over rice. I was surprised that the golden scallop was deep fried. I should have read the reviews. I really enjoyed the baby octopus the first time that I had it, but the second time wasn't that great.
Apparently you can order salmon belly, but that's only if it's available. I did try the spring mountain roll which has no rice. There was a lot of sauce on top. It was a pretty good roll except for the abundance sauce.
Service was really great at first. They were attentive and took our order. Halfway through our meal, they had a few large parties arrive and completely ignored us. It took us a while to get our dessert. :(
