Stack shares a demising wall with Japonais inside The Mirage. If you are inside the casino and you are facing the entrance to both restaurants, you are presented with a simple yes/no decision:
Going to the left for Stack is bad.
Going to the right for Japonais is good.
At Stack, I ordered the miso black cod salad cups and the hot rocks as appetizers, the filet, and the baked potato. The miso salad was flat out bad, and the hot rocks were more gimmicky than good. The filet was fine. The potato, served with an array of accoutrements, turned out to be nothing special.
I could overlook the ordinary and undistinguished fare here if it were not for the fact that it was so expensive. Your money can go much further elsewhere.
