  • When we arrived at the hotel we booked through a third party, we found it to be completely unsatisfactory. It is on the edge of the university area with nothing to do within walking distance. The building is next to a highway and across from a police station. Our first impression of the hotel was the graffiti spray painted on the side of the building we approached. Upon entering, the front entrance is dingy and the lobby was dimly lit and noticeably deteriorated and dirty. The restaurant also looked grimy. Because this was meant to be a family vacation, my husband and I did not feel safe staying their with our children. After driving 7 hours to Montreal, we ended up having to find another hotel and incur additional cost. I saw it rated 3.5 stars on other websites prior to making the trip. Not even close. Doesn't even deserve one star.
