  • Used to be a pretty decent, friendly place to go. I don't know if the management changed or what but the service is super-slow now. And weird. One waitress we got pretended not to know what 'tamago' was then said "Oh! You mean /TOEmago/." Not only was that snotty for no reason but the fact that she was pronouncing it incorrectly made it kind of sad and funny at the same time. I speak Japanese and know the differences between 'to' and 'ta', as well as what the word 'tamago' means. In her attempt to make herself look superior and smart, she did the exact opposite. I've been to Kabuki many times over the past 4 years and used to love it (this used to be a 4-star review). But the last 3 times really haven't been worth the trip. The sushi's not as good as it used to be and the help... definitely needs improving. I don't know that I'll write the place off completely yet but it'll be a while before I go back.
