| - Yes we all ladies go through this annually. It's something I am not looking forward to, and yes I do feel uncomfortable every year, yet I keep coming back here to see Dr. Langer every year.
I've been coming to see her for the past 14 years. She's been taking great care of me from the first day we met. She delivered both of my kids, she performed a surgery, now annual pap exam and breast cancer exam. Her knowledge and skills as a doctor is excellent, I never had any issues and my recovery was always fast. She knows I don't like coming here, so she takes first one minute or so talking to me to help me feel comfortable before she starts her exam. She is always gentle and quick, it's always over before I know it.
I referred several of my friends here and they all were happy that she took time to explain to them.
Office is very nice and clean. I read reviews here while waiting today but I never had any of the issues they mentioned. Front office staff is always nice, no billing issues nor too long of the wait lately. I had an appointment at 9am this morning, I arrived at 8:55am. I was called in by a nurse at 9:13am and I was finished and out of the office by 9:30am.
Sure, I waited for a long time before during routine pregnancy check up. They postponed my appointment a few times in the past. It was inconvenient but understandable. They are also here to deliver babies at the hospital. Labors could take a long time, scheduled surgery could have complication. We don't schedule when we are going to labor (unless it's scheduled for C-section). They get called in anytime of the day or night. I was glad when she arrived just in time to the hospital to deliver my baby, it could have meant others were waiting to see her. They have plenty of magazines to read, I normally bring my laptop to work while waiting.
I am happy that I have her as my OBGYN.
