My husband and I bought a dishwasher in February from this location and purchased the full extended warranty as well as installation fees. After a few weeks, it started to leak out the sides and I notices condensation all around the edge and counter - I didn't realize until then that there was a dent in the side of the door that popped out which means it had been damaged before installing leaving the door completely torked. The dishwasher doesn't heat the dishes hardly at all and I can open the door immediately following the cycles and the dishes are lukewarm. I called to have a technician come look at the unit and he recommended that we go back to the store and have it replaced. There's also a scratch on the top of the door because it was installed too high. I've spent hours on the phone with the run around of who will handle the case. I have at least ten 1-800 numbers all of which put me on hold and transfer me to other departments - but nothing is being resolved! When I called the store directly, they offer no help and simply pin it on the 3rd party installation!! They are eager to take our money but customer service is totally lacking! If you offer the installation and take the money - then you need to stand by your installers! No one told us how difficult it would be to get a case handled when we bought the unit should we have needed to call. The sales person made it sound so simple and pointed out the 1-800 number at the bottom of the receipt - but note to stupid sales people - that number routes you to Canada or Milan or another one of the many service call centers around the world and you'll go to at least 5 transfers before you can even talk to someone who will take the time to listen to the complaint - only to be told that no one wants to take responsibility - beware working with Sears - It isn't the same good quality as it used to be 50 years ago!!
