  • I am very disappointing in target right now. I was tricked into get a "redcard" which was explained as a rewards card, I had to give the rep a debit card to link it, for a measly 13 dollar purchase, which turns out is a credit card opened and impossible to pay for. It was sent in the mail 2 months late, and I can't even pay for it. I've called several times over the past few months trying to pay the balance, only to speak to an outsourced call center. Every time they say I have to be transferred to a "special" department to handle my payment which I assume is collections, and then they say the department is closed or put me on a dead transfer line. I can't even pay it online because the card number is only 10 digits and its supposed to be 16 so I can't register, and yes I tried the account number on the statement and typing in all zero's at the beginning. Target is ruining my credit of 13 dollars, which I am sure is well over 100 dollars in late fees and collection fee's. I will be posting several reviews about target. You can't fix messing up someones credit, not once was I contacted to even make a payment.
