Food was terrible. Drinks are severely overpriced. Service was insanely slow and a bit rude. The sound system is plenty loud but they have it set so you hear sound effects and music way louder than dialogue. Really a very disappointing experience on nearly all fronts.
First the good. This is a nice place. I liked that buying tickets is done at the bar. I can imagine, though, that on a busy night, this could make getting drink orders even slower. The theater viewing space is nicely appointed with leather seats and a nice table that's bottom lit so you can read the menu.
The bad. Our first waiter took our order then disappeared. We never saw him again. Several minutes later a waitress came up to confirm our drink order. Several LONG minutes after that she finally returned with my shot glass of wine that cost $9. Smallest glass of wine I've ever seen outside of a tasting room. It was ridiculous. Then several minutes after that she returned with the Diet Coke we had also ordered.
We ordered hot wings. They came out dry. There was no flavor whatsoever. Bland. Nothing even close to buffalo spice. We asked for additional dressing for dipping which they charged for and that took another ten minutes to deliver. $11 for wings, $13 for Cobb salad.
The wait staff never returned to see if I wanted another glass of wine though I had finished the first quickly. Eventually she brought the check about 30 minutes before the movie ended. We put the card down immediately and she was back in a hurry to pick it up but then never returned again until after the credits were rolling and we were standing around waiting for her to return with the slip for our signature.
I can safely say I will not be returning to this theater any time soon. I hate the idea of driving all the way to Scottsdale for a dine in theater experience but I would rather do that than come back here.
