I have brought my 5 furry "babies" to 1st Pet for the past 13 years (3 of them still living), and have been extremely pleased with the care that 1st Pet has provided. The staff is caring and friendly, and and has worked with me many times to help schedule a last minute appointment (or when I made a mistake and arrived on the wrong day). Dr. Babyak is an outstanding animal internist and has provided quality of life for my geriatric pets when another area vet thought there was no other option. I have no doubt that all 3 of my pets are still alive and have a good quality of life because of 1st Pet, Dr. Babyak, and the medical technicians. I've been to 1st Pet during the day, and made a number of "midnight to 3am" emergency visits, only once having any concerns which were immediately addressed the next day. I've seen a number of reviews expressing concern about costs, however it is important for all pet owners to know that there can (will) be emergencies, and as pets age their medical costs become greater as happens with many humans. Consider medical insurance or be aware and accept before you adopt that you will need to have funds to pay for medical treatment. This is an outstanding facility, and we are fortunate to have it in our community.
