This is my favorite Phoenix sushi restaurant. I admit I mostly get the same items every time and out of the probably hundreds of times I've eaten here I've only had less than great food a couple times. They have vegetarian items too and most things can be ordered with tofu instead of chicken or beef ( the noodle bowls and Asian nachos). They also have an all you can eat sushi special on Saturdays I believe. Oh and you must try the mojos - they are a dessert item and to die for!
I order off the underground menu and it states that since they're specialty items it may take longer to make which is fine for me because I usually order to go anyway and the times I don't I order one of the craft beers on the constantly changing beer menu - I do love experimenting with the beers from different places.
There are a lot of regulars - smiling faces - and there are TVs playing the current games at the bar, very low key laid back vibe, I love it.
I will say it is much harder to get parking since Sprouts moved into the area but that's the only downside.
