  • 3.5/5! We went to Ja Bistro on a Tuesday night after hearing raving reviews from some friends. Perhaps we had really high expectations, but I was not as impressed as others. This is definitely more authentic than most other Japanese restaurants in the financial/entertainment district so that's a positive. I highly recommend the sashimi sampler to start. The fish is extremely fresh. However, I was disappointed with the Ja Bistro roll. I have had better maki at other places. The service was good however they messed up our drink menu and we asked several times for extra soya sauce which we never received. Overall, it's a bit pricey for what it is.
