  • I liked living here. My boyfriend and I lived at Martinique Bay for just over 2 years and it was a good apartment to start with since it was the first time we lived together. Pros: Pricing wasn't horrible. The appliances were all up to date. Loved the big trees and grass lawns outside almost every apartment. Laminate wood flooring entryway and bathrooms. Neighbors and staff were incredibly friendly. Maintenance was very fastidious. The grounds were well kept. Cons: Not a lot of storage space. Our specific unit layout made arranging the living area difficult. The cabinets are an outdated salmon fake wood color. There was no trim in our unit. The AC was old and had difficulty keeping our unit cold enough (top floor). Lots of children and not so nice looking adolescents (I tend to like quiet). My boyfriends bike was stolen from the stairwell even though it was locked up. (This could of happened anywhere though) Overall it was worth living here because it showed us what we wanted in an apartment without too much risk.
