  • Finally swallowed my pride and decided to get my eyes checked and get bifocals. I came in and the receptionist Jasmine was trying on the newest glasses that had come in and I had to wait for her to finish admiring herself in the newest style. She was nice but I got the feeling I had interrupted her and she needed to get back to her trying on more glasses. There was a half empty bottle of water on the counter left by someone else and I pointed it out to her. Waited quite awhile in the waiting room and finally called back. The Doctor had a air of snob on him and before even examining my eyes told me the allergy meds I was taken and prescribed by my allergist were unneeded and that I only had seasonal allergies and should just take Benedryl. After my exam he commented I do have allergens in my eyes and prescribed drops. HUH??? My eyes were dilated and I was told to go look at the glasses and was constantly steered towards the high price frames. While looking at frames the office manager, Debi, commented on the color of my hair and left a client to grab her cell phone and show me a picture of her "baby's" hair. Very pretty teen with very over processed orange hair. The client she left kept shooting me dirty looks and Debi kept showing me pix after pix waiting for my approval. Jasmine was still trying on new frames. 30 minutes later I was finally called back to be seen and when I asked about a script for the multi vision contact lenses I have worn in the past he said I was not a good candidate for contacts due to my allergies but would give me a script. Picked up my contacts, they are only single vision and not for astigmatism that I have had since 19. Seems that has disappeared while seeing this Doctor. Picked out my frames and the Optician filled out the paperwork and said she would call when they were in. A week later I cam into pick up my frames and the Optician filled my frames with single vision lenses not bifocals. I enquired on getting bifocals but was told I would have to pay an additional $160 for no line ones. I asked for a refund and was told to speak to Debi on Monday. After two days of calling I was told that they would not refund the money I paid because they filled the script. Even tho it was the employees mistake. I plan on heading to small claims court on this issue.
