My son who was 10 at the time was not learning much for the dollar amount we were paying. Two months later he breaks his arm just above the elbow. In jiu-jitsu they teach arm bars so as a parent, i didn't want him back in ANY MMA of ANY kind. Jeff, at throwdown takes DAYS TO WEEKS to respond to emails. I HAVE PROOF WITH DATES AND TIMES!!! So, after like 6 months or so of him giving my sons arm to heal as it was a bad break, he didn't charge us for those months. We were in a contract, but things change such as a broken arm above the elbow and arm bar training involved is not a good idea. Jeff showed no compassion to withdraw the contract and only asked for a Dr.'s excuse. Really? You really need a Dr.'s excuse? Me as his parent said, HE IS NOT GOING BACK to risk further injury to a recently healed arm. Safety first. He said he would have to continue charging. Well We are now in December 2012 with another charge? I guess Las Vegas Metro Police will be notified for THEFT cause he doesn't respond to his customer's emails or return phone calls. AVOID THROWDOWN AT ALL COST, BEFORE IT REALLY COSTS YOU!!!
This was resolved, but the above is what took place.
