| - I was in there today and thought they did a pretty great job! I haven't been to the dentist in 10+ years (I told people there I had only not been for a few years (~5 years), but that estimate was a bit low). I did have a 3 small cavities this time but the dentist explained they weren't big yet (I didn't feel them). I thought the front staff was amazing. My favorite staff person there was Demetri (I might not have his name right though - he was awesome so please let him know if you read this at Gentle Dental. He's a tall, African American, male). And he was not only welcoming, personable, professional, confident, but also relaxed (which I really needed today). And he was with me through this whole experience, that I feared so much. I think I hid my freak out pretty well when I had 3 cavities (but I was secretly freaking out) and his presence was so helpful. I will never forget he was at my side in every room throughout all of this. The dentist was great as well (he explained everything very thoroughly every step of the way). And he was particularly contentious on the fillings - he told me straight off, raise your hand if you feel anything. He also was very particular that things were straight when I bit down when sorting out if he had the fillings molded properly. He also mentioned if I feel anything in the next few days that is off, or any significant pain, or pain that is getting worse to let him know. I appreciated that. My only reason it isn't five stars is my plan was set to cover cleanings and mine wasn't covered. I don't know if it's because it was a special cleaning because I hadn't been in so long, but there wasn't even a discussion about the normal versus what I got. I think that should have happened. Other than that is was a great experience. Thank you!
