  • The Silverton Hotel and Casino was a refreshing break from the crowded Las Vegas Strip. Because we had a car it took us about 7 minutes to get there from the Cosmopolitan Hotel. We enjoyed seeing the aquarium. I think it'd be great for kids. We got to see the "mermaid" show -again, I think kids would love it. Before we left we popped into the casino souvenir store and were pleased to find some shot glasses and key chain gifts for very reasonable prices.
