  • Leased 2013 Jetta SE w/ Convenience Last night the car was fine. Today the battery is dead or there might be another problem only God knows!!! Since day 1 the A/C smells like there is dead animal in the car. At the time I've signed the lease my credit was not good and in that case they ripped me off so bad. I paid $5000 downpayment and now I'm paying $333.34 every month. I don't have any other problems with the car other than the terrible smell that the dealership don't care about. After 3 times checking it they still cannot fix the smelly A/C. NOW ... here is the latest thing I've learned today: They set me up for some additional coverage that should cover any minor damages. The problem is that some stuff of the additional coverage are already covered by the manufacturer - VW. Today I called both and VW is providing absolutely free roadside assistance but the guys at the dealership won't tell you that! I called the additional coverage company and they offered $100 coverage for roadside assistance and the towing company asked for $175.... well my advice is read well when you are signing deals it might look fine but it might be very bad deal... I'm giving 2 stars because the service they provide after you get the car is changing completely ... and because they cannot fix the problem with the A/C. I also asked them why the car is always going to specific direction and it cannot go straight for 100 feet even and the answer was that I have to perform specific test that is not included in the warranty ... My advice stay away from VW... Expensive vehicles without almost any coverage other than tire rotation and oil change... First and last time VW customer
