  • I write my review as a Las Vegas local who on occasion has worthy professional pieces of clothing I donate to this most special "give a girl a leg up" professional career counseling community center. There are lots of great causes in the great Las Vegas area to donate your gently used professional clothing, but Dress for Success is slightly different. They do not want your flip flops, your shorts, your sundress, your blender, your kids toys, nor your tennis shoes. They want women's professional clothing. Your gently used professional ware (including suits, blouses, shoes, costume jewelry, pants, etc) then are available for the women who seek services through them for career counseling. Women who cannot afford proper interview attire, get a full outfit. Women who are not sure how to properly interview are giving professional advice and direction on how to do this. Women are provided the tools to give them a leg up, with the interview skills they need, with the confidence of being dressed for the part. The volunteers that work there are lovely. Really supportive in assisting me as a donor with my drop off and with the patrons who seek their service. The place is set up like a small boutique shopping venue. Drop off hours are limited to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (so check their website for times). The drop off door can be found around the back of their building. Their service is for women only and although they would take any professional men's clothing you might have, they referred me to another local entity to contact to make my donation of men's clothes with them directly (Heros in Schools...I think...don't quote me on that. Just call and ask Dress for Success and they can tell you correctly where to donate your professional men's clothing).
