This was a disappointing stay from the first moment I walked into the hotel. We were at this hotel for a corporate conference. First of all the lobby is poorly designed and cluttered. It's also used as an eating area. The check in desk is tucked away in the corner.
After the check in, I set down to eat my food that I brought with me since my room wasn't ready yet. A very rude manager named Linda came out and with a very condensending tone said "you can't eat your Bojangles here".. I thought she was kidding because I didn't think she was an actual hotel employee since she was dressed in high heels, fishnet tights, and a very short dress. She looked like she was going to a strip club instead of to work to manage and run a hotel.. I asked her if she was kidding and she said no and again informed me that I can't eat my food on premises.
I was very embarrassed and humiliated since Linda was rude to me in front of my colleagues. I went outside and set on a bench in front of the fountain and had my meal. I've been up since 3am and was very tired and didn't have the energy to argue with her. After my "picnic" I came in and saw someone sitting with chick fill a.. and they we're allowed to eat their food.
Second thing, I found hair on my towels and mold in the shower. The public restroom were also dirty and had build up of mold around faucets.
There were no trash bins outside the restrooms to throw away paper towels from the restrooms when I opened the doors.
Two positive things were that Vincent was very polite and professional and made sure we had everything we needed from the food side. Very good job Vincent!
Michael was very helpful when checking us in and accommodated us very well since I had trouble booking through the corporate rate and link. Thanks Michael!!
