Processed, pre-cooked, pre-made food.
We went for Lunch on a Saturday. There were 4 of us.
The Ale House Appetizer Plate: everything was room temperature - nothing hot. The potato skins were bland. The Fried Cheese was okay, but again, not hot ~ it should be gooey and stretchy but it was like biting into a coated mozzarella stick right out of the refrigerator. The chips & salsa was nothing special. The artichoke dip was pretty good, and the onion rings weren't bad, but again, they weren't hot/warm.
The Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken & Shrimp. The lettuce was fresh. The hard-boiled egg was rubbery. The chicken & shrimp we both over-cooked and dry.
The English Style Fish & Chips: It was okay, but again, probably would have been better if they were hot and freshly cooked.
2 people had the Build Your Own Burger: Just gross. The burgers were pre-cooked and seemed to be prepared like the whole 1970's boil-in-a bag meal. The meat itself was pale. The 'grill marks' were not actually from the grill in the kitchen when it was being prepared for us ~ those grill marks were from the factory when it was packaged. I would rather go to In-N-Out. And again - NOT HOT. Not to mention items were left off of the orders.
The server himself was good.
The manager came by and asked us how everything was. I told him what I thought. He knocked 10% off the bill. Although I appreciate that, we will not be back.
