While my memory of Pure is a little fuzzy due to free-flowing vodka and whiskey bottle service, I'm fairly certain the partial blackout is a sign I had a good time. We weren't carrying cash with us and had no door bribing leverage, so we ended up waiting for about twenty minutes in the women's line (the mens line was around 1 hour, from the bitching I overheard). Once inside my friends and I briefly attempted to dance on the overcrowded main dance floor, gave up, and decided to go get a drink on the roof-deck (which was pretty cool). We stepped out of the elevator on the deck and were quickly ushered back downstairs (they even cleared out the elevator for us and wouldn't let anyone else on), so that we could chill at a table with a "VIP". The VIP didn't actually spend very much time at his table, so my girls and I ended up getting the table and the alcohol pretty much to ourselves. Table service is really the way to go at Pure. It was so crowded that having somewhere to ourselves to dance and drink made the experience worth it. Despite the good music, I don't think I'd go back if I didn't think I'd have access to a table.
