  • Sweet Moses was a great experience overall. The place has a retro sort of feeling to it and my wife and I really enjoyed it. We ordered the root beer, a raspberry syrup vanilla bean ice cream soda, saltwater taffy, and a buckeye. The root beer and ice cream soda were soooo good. I thought the ice cream was smooth and, well, creamy. I definitely enjoyed these two the most. The taffy was very smooth and yummy but I'm just not a huge taffy fan... Probably because it always sticks in my teeth like crazy. The buckeye was OK, nothing special. It was about $1.25 so I definitely will not buy any more in the future. The main reason that I didn't give them 5 stars was because we had to wait more than 20 minutes for our stuff. I didn't expect that considering they weren't crazy busy and we only had a root beer and ice cream soda to prepare. It made me feel like we were ordering dinner at some restaurant. Again, I LOVE the atmosphere. The setup is great, from their antique cash register to the booths, a pretty awesome place. I will definitely be stopping by the next time I'm over on that side of town. :-)
