Our normal Indian place was closed so we decided to try the next highest suggestion on Yelp. Unfortunately, we were let down.
We started with the assorted snacks. The single shish kabob was almost dried and the neat didn't taste very fresh. Papadum was supposed to be included in the snacks, but like other places we were given that when we sat down. It shouldn't be listed in the assorted snacks if they aren't going to give you more.
For dinner we ordered chicken tikki masala with garlic naan, as well as the goat masala from the "chefs specialties" portion of the menu. Being that this was a specialty you would think it would be pretty good. Unfortunately more than half of the chunks of "meat" were bone. The flavor was decent when you finally found a piece of meat.
The chicken tikki masala was not as flavorful as others I've had in the past and the meat was tough. Yes, tough chicken. The garlic naan was a a little too burnt too.
When if finally came time to get the check the server was ignoring us. We had the plates stacked and ready for clearing. He walked by multiple times before he finally seemed to notice we were ready. At which point he tried to force dessert on us. By the time the whole ordeal was over o was just glad I had cash on me so we didn't have to wait on him again.
If you're looking for great Indian food try Flavors of India a couple miles away. I won't be returning to Indian Dehli Palace
