  • Great hotel in Uptown Charlotte. We stayed on the 22nd floor so we had access to the Executive Lounge with hors d'oeuvres in the early evening and breakfast in the morning, as well as bottled water and wi-fi included with the price of the room (seriously - worth the up-charge). We could see Time Warner Arena from our room. The bed was comfortable, the TV had a good picture, the water pressure in the shower was TO DIE FOR. Unfortunately, our two-night stay was cut a day short due to a family emergency back home. It was no hassle at all to call down to the front desk for a last minute check-out. I wish we could have stayed second night to enjoy more of the amenities - like room service! My only suggestion is pretty obvious - do NOT attempt to get to the hotel between 4-6pm on a weekday. Uptown traffic is horrible. We got a great AAA rate for our stay - definitely check that out if you're a AAA member. My only complaint was that there was a weird intermittent, yet constant mechanical buzz/chirp sound, reminded us of cicadas, but definitely was not a sound made by bugs. The only thing that made it bearable was that it was rhythmic and steady.
