| - Macy's Furniture Delivery Service is a big joke!!!! This has been a very frustrating ordeal. We purchased a floor model bed and were going to pick it up, however, we decided to have it delivered It was going to be a Saturday, however, a week later, I find out they "only" do "store to door" delivery service on "Wednesday". Not happy. So delivery charge was paid, receive 2 phone messages that the bed would be delivered on Wed between 12-2. 2:00 rolls around, and no bed. I called and was informed that there was a delay, and that there was another order in front of mine, and we are now looking at deliver between 4-6. 5:00 i called, Macys delivery service, and was on hold forever, only to find out it was scheduled for Thursday and not Wednesday. Ha! I told them the situation, and they cannot explain, and was told if i am not there to accept delivery on Thursday, then i will have to reschedule. However, they could not provide me with a time. Go figure. The next day, my husband decided to call, as i could and would not wait 15 min to speak to a representative. He finds out that they will deliver the bed between 4-6. Unacceptable, and works it out to have it delivered Friday morning. In the meantime, we are scrambling around, trying to figure out who can stay and wait 2+ hours on the delivery. That Thursday, i receive a call at 1:00 and was informed they will be there in 30 minutes. WTH. I have to leave work, and now i am waiting for over an hour. Steve from Macys did refund my delivery charge, and that is appreciative, but this whole ordeal is ridiculous...... and don't get me started on day to day shopping experience at Macy's and their 20% off coupon cards. A Big Joke..
