| - I have been waiting to write this review as I went to this salon a few days after they opened and their venue wasn't yet listed on Yelp.
I walked in and was greeted by an older man, and a lady who I later realized was the salon owner. She asked me what services I wanted and I told her I needed a fill and a pedicure. She told me to sit down at the first pedicure chair and she began to fill the tub and then walked over to the older man and instructed him (in a foreign language) to give me a pedicure. From the beginning, I could tell he didn't know what he was doing. He didn't clean up the skin around the nails, he didn't ask me how short to clip my nails, and was not very gentle. I had selected a pedicure that included a paraffin wax, and he poured the wax over my feet in spots, and then wrapped my feet with saran wrap. When I asked him if he was going to redo the wax so that my feet would be completely wrapped in the paraffin, he looked at me like I was crazy to think that I would want my entire foot wrapped.
At the end of the pedicure he painted my nails, getting nail polish all over the skin surrounding my nails. I was very upset and asked him to please redo the polish as it looked like a child had painted my nails. He took the polish off and redid it all but it didn't look any better.
After this pedicure, which took about 2 hours (!!!!) I finally was fed up. I asked to speak with the owner who was now working on another customer, and she didn't want to come and speak with me. I asked again, stating that I wouldn't pay for the pedicure until she comes to talk to me, and then she finally came over. I showed her the pedicure and paint job that was done and she said she would give me $5 off because the work was already done.... I was upset and explained to her that I will never be back due to this. She defended the man and said that he worked on my pedicure for a long time and that he deserves to be paid regardless of how the paint job came out. So, I paid and then immediately walked over to Diamond Nail salon (one parking lot over) and they fixed it for me.
I will never go back here. Not only was the service slow (2 hours for a pedicure is ridiculous) but the owner was not accommodating or apologetic about the job that was clearly not up to par. The pedicure cost me $35 even with the discount and before tip.
